Kernel Kullman has been our long-time dream. We saw our first popcorn shop on our honeymoon (a long time ago!) and visited a popcorn store anytime we came across one. After a fateful vacation in 2012, we started seriously thinking about how great it would be to own our own popcorn store. Holly’s hometown of Cullman, Alabama seemed to be a perfect match for our vision of bringing a contemporary twist to the old-time general store, and that vision became a reality in 2015 when Kernel Kullman opened in Cullman’s historic Warehouse District.

As you walk in the door to music of the swing era and see rows of nostalgic candy, glass bottled sodas sitting in ice, homemade fudge, and of course our mainstay of 50+ delicious flavors of gourmet popcorn, you will be transported to a time when life was simpler - a time when children played outside and knew it was time to come home when the street lights came on. It is our goal to bring back your memories of childhood while building new memories for generations to come.
